This year, non-fungible token (NFT) assets were incredibly popular, with moreover $20 billion in volume recorded in NFT sales across 100 collections to yet.


While many single NFTs sold for millions of dollars, numerous NFT projects and collections sold for hundreds of millions of dollars, if not billions of dollars.

Cryptopunks, a popular NFT collection, has a total volume of $2.98 billion, according to defillama.com analytics.

In 2021, a number of NFT collections were quite popular, and they were the subject of numerous talks. While the top 10 most expensive non-fungible token 

sales were announced by Bitcoin.com News this year, a vast number of NFT collections witnessed significant trade volume and demand.

According to defillama.com, there have been $20.13 billion in total sales from these precise NFT series over the years.

The NFTs are from Ethereum, Solana, Immutablex, Binance Smart Chain, Arbitrum, and Terra, among others.

The Cryptopunks collection has the highest volume, with $2.98 billion in total volume and 3,286 owners. With $1.04 billion in total volume and 5,961 owners, Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) is the second-largest.

By all-time volume, these are the top five NFT projects and collections. Bored Ape Yacht Club, Decentraland, Mutant Ape Yacht Club, and The Sandbox is among the crypto punks. Land purchases are used to calculate Decentraland and The Sandbox NFT quantities.

With $930.98 million in assets and 6,051 owners, Decentraland came in just under a billion dollars. With $513.23 million in total volume and 10,711 MAYC owners, Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC) is in fourth place. 
With a volume of $450.7 million and 17,315 owners, The Sandbox is ranked fifth this year. Cool Cats NFT processed $239.3 million, Super rare processed $237.94 million, Cryptoadz processed $204.29 million, and Parallel Alpha processed $202.87 million.

By all-time volume, these are the top 6-10 NFT projects and collections. Cool Cats, Super rare, Cryptoadz, Parallel Alpha, and Punks Comic are among the collections and initiatives.

Punks Comic, with $181.46 million and 5,912 owners, has the tenth-largest volume. 
Clone X ($154.55M), Cyberkongz ($151.26M), Veefriends ($130.47M), Doodles ($121.89M), Creature World ($115.19M), RTFKT ($93.8M), Vox Collectibles ($66.4M), Town Star ($65.7M), Gutter Cat Gang ($61.6M), and Rumble Kong League ($52.6M) were among the other notable NFT collections following Punks Comic.

The most owners are Town Star, Parallel Alpha, The Sandbox Assets, and Adidas Originals NFTs.

Town Star, with 31,721 owners, is the NFT project with the most owners reported on defillama.com's NFT volume analytics website. 
There are 30,250 owners of Parallel Alpha, 22,387 owners of The Sandbox assets, 18,869 owners of Adidas Originals, and 17,315 owners of The Sandbox virtual universe.

Adidas Originals, a relatively new NFT product, sold $38.3 million in a short amount of time. 
At the time of writing, the Adidas Originals NFT collection has a starting price of $3,523. The highest floor price is $193K at Bored Ape Yacht Club, and the lowest is $79,173 at NFT Personality Pod Sale. 
Levana Dragons, with a floor price of $12.00, is the collection with the lowest floor price at the time of writing.
